A small workshop.
A much bigger world.

Built for the people who get it

Cosplay and collecting bring together makers, painters, costumers, photographers, convention-goers, and fans. A prop can be the finishing touch on a costume, the centerpiece of a collection, or the beginning of a new creative project.

We see a thriving community with a lot of imagination and too few places that understand what it makes. Our workshop exists to serve that community, one replica and one conversation at a time.

Why we built our own home

We previously sold through Etsy, Facebook, and eBay. After suspensions across all three for “Weapons Policy Violations,” we decided to build an independent, self-hosted home for our products and services.

From our side of the workbench, the problem is a lack of context. Broad platform restrictions and poorly implemented AI moderation can treat a fictional, non-functional cosplay prop as real, life-threatening equipment. Even when a prop complies with the local ordinances that apply to it, that distinction can get lost in a platform’s enforcement process.

“Oh, yeah, you caught me. I was trying to sell a functional rocket launcher.”
That’s sarcasm. We make cosplay props.

We take the difference seriously. A replica made for a costume or a shelf deserves to be understood for what it is. In our experience, creators and collectors are left underserved when a system judges a silhouette without understanding its purpose.

More room for the community

Running our own storefront gives us control over how we present our work and how we support the people buying it. It gives you a direct connection to the workshop, with clear product information and a place to ask questions.

We want Forge to be a reliable home for the hobby: somewhere to find your next prop, talk through an idea, or get help with a piece you already own. Your support helps keep a small Texas workshop making things for a community we’re proud to be part of.
